About Me

Daniel Lobo is currently the Project Manager, Community Design, at the American Institute of Architects Center for Communities by Design, where he develops and supports the programs to sustain livable communities including disaster assistance and neighborhood development. Prior to this, he worked extensively in private design practice coordinating urban design initiatives and freelancing as researcher/reporter in issues of urban and cultural development.
Daniel holds a Master’s in City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics, a Bachelor’s degree in Design from the School of Architecture at the London Metropolitan University as well as an extensive background in contemporary art.

Daniel served as the secretary in the Shaw Ecovillage’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, which he joined after several years of involvement in the Advisory Council. He coordinated the development of the new Drupal website environment to provide a community oriented space that can supported the mission and activities of the organization.

He is also building up the platform "Daquella manera" using Drupal.
