At home I'm a member of the local Board of Education and do quite a bit of volunteer work and web development for the school district and a host of other non-profits of interest.
I've spent the last several years building static web sites with considerable custom PHP code mixed in to provide content management. Got the Drupal bug in January 2009 when I accepted the challenge of rebuilding the local school district's web presence.
When I'm not at home on the computer I try to get out and do some geocaching.

I'm a telecommuter for EDS, an HP Company and I largely serve their Black & Veatch account (client HQ is in Kansas City). At EDS/HP I wear my Civil/Structural Engineer (BSCE - Iowa State '78 and MSCE - Univ. of Kansas '95) hat and have been involved in software development and maintenance in that arena for about 25 years.
