About Me

Information architect, ITIL certified process specialist, technical writer, code jockey, and all around geek. I was originally trained as a cognitive psychologist and began my career as a human factors engineer. You know those amusing "Can you hear me now" commercials? I actually started my career doing that-- walking through the fields at Bells Labs headquarters in Holmdel, NJ holding an original AT&T Nomad cordless phone (this was prior to the invention of cell phones).

My love/hate relationship with computers began in college when I wrote my first program, a solitaire program in PL/1 on IBM punch cards, and has persisted ever since. I've hacked up code in just about any system you can think of-- assembler on the TRS-80, apple's version of basic on the apple 2 and lisa, ms basic on the pre-windows ibm pc, all the way through to visual basic, visual basic.net, asp.net, SQL, c, javascript, and now php. Drupal is my current obsession and I anticipate it lasting for a long long time.
