Looking for some advice regarding Ubercart and the sale of Permissions

I'm looking for some advice.

I'm working with a client who will be switching to Drupal with Ubercart as their primary e-commerce system. Part of our content delivery has to do with subscriptions. We have several hundred products, and we want to be able to sell a subscription for each individual product.

Panels 3 / Ctools -- Edit Panel Content menus load extended

I've just updated from Panels-2 to Panels-3. I've run into some theme problems with Ctools. On the Edit Panels Content page, the page loads with all the CTools drop down menus expanded. This happens with my custom theme, but not with the Garland theme.

Has anyone else run into this? Any suggestions on how to fix?

thanks

Allow voting on a panel pane?

I have panel pages that contain panes of RSS feed items. I'd like to enable user voting for a feed pane. I haven't found a way to do this with fivestar or the votingapi. Is there a way to do this without a lot of programming modification to either the panels or feed aggregator modules?

Thank you.

PHP Drupal/Textmate Developer | Freelance Gig

Employment type:
Contract
Telecommute:
Allowed

I'd like to hire someone to write a Texmate command that could "read" the .info, .install, and .module files in a Drupal module and extract the relevant Drupal specific information from them. (input a module folder and output an HTML document) I have an outline of exactly what I would like to read from the files, and how to display the data. There are existing "documentation" tools available, but they are all "function" based, and not "module" based. I want to see "at a glance" (and present to non techies) what tables, menus, hooks, blocks, node types, API functions, ect...

Drupal Developer | Me and Her Designs

Employment type:
Contract
Telecommute:
Allowed

Hi there, I'm new-ish to Drupal, and have a multi-media design company in Eugene, Oregon. I have two potential projects coming up this summer, and I'm looking to contract/collaborate with someone(s) who is a drupal developer, and all around nice person.

Both sites will have an emphasis on community -- so friending, rating posts, and users being served up personalized content depending on what they have expressed interest in.

I'd prefer to find someone in the Eugene or Portland area, but, it's not essential that you are an Oregonian.

If you're interested, please send me:

Carpooling to meetings from Corvallis?

I'm looking to get more involved with Drupal, I've tried to carpool with a friend to the Portland, Oregon Drupal Users Group meetings, but he's been unable to go, so I'm taking matters into my own hands. I'm a student at OSU and lack a car.

If anyone is going to any of the Drupal Users Group meetings from the Corvallis area and wouldn't mind swinging by campus before heading up to meetings, I'm more than happy to provide with help with gas money.

Thanks,

Nielsonm

Corvallis meeting?

I went up to the monthly Portland Drupal User Group meeting last Wednesday, and it was great. I got to meet some really knowledgeable people and learn more about the Drupal community. I'm new to Drupal and I found the few hours I spent at this meeting as helpful as many hours reading stuff online.

SOAP implementation

I am hoping that some one here can help...

I need to implement a SOAP service and i cant seem to find any "how to". i see that there is a services module, and a soap server, and i understand the "normal" application of the simple object access protocol via php, java etc (building a custom site, no problems )... but how to go about implementing it in drupal 6 ?

please, please i need a hand, as there is NO documentation on this subject.

cheers,

Drupal coding best practices?

My goal is to build some community websites. Features include ratings, link sharing, user profiles, group calendars, etc.

Drupal provides much functionality out of the box. Modules extend that functionality.

With Drupal I can go in the right direction, but I am having lots of difficulty customizing the solution to meet my needs.

Employment type:

Jobs should only be posted to 4 groups. I've limited this to willamette so that you can re-assign to the appropriate groups.

We are building a multi-site Drupal network and will modify and integrate modules that have not been done in this fashion before.

We like to work in small chunks of ten to fifteen hours a week and we use Assembla.com to communicate and keep on-track.

This is a big job and it will take months, but the budget is available. We have a full-time project manager and a designer on the team.
