We are a nonprofit org which can be described as "The Virtual GoodWill Industries."

We have an amazing system with over 5,000 hours invested to date so this will eventually be a project worth having your name on. The initial store and vendor approval system is up and working. What we need now is a good way to allow the following:

  • customers to purchase items from multiple vendors.
  • customer credit card to be placed on hold until either the shipment date of the product or the agreed date of service.
  • the agreed commissions be withheld from the payments to the vendors

Let's Be Bold- I Need A Local Programmer

Folks, I'm looking for a programmer, local to the Eugene/Springfield area, who knows Drupal.

This is an immediate need. I am trying to build a site that is sponsored by a company I am building. I have built the base and would like to find someone who has a few hours a week to help me with it- The idea is to build it past the basics, and use it's building membership to help me build another business. (actually two of them)

Hello, I'm new to the group

Hey folks, I'm new to the group; just registered with drupal to be honest.

I'm actually a graphic artist who wound up trying to build a drupal site for a local cause, and I'm not having much luck- although, it does help me to appreciate programmers a lot more.

I do work with html and php, but I use dreamweaver to do so, and I really don't have to understand coding to do what I've done. Needless to say, I am looking for some help on this site I've built and even have the ability to take a small group of people to a commercial level with this.

Portland meetup Wednesday 8/11 includes advanced GIT training

Some of us at the last meetup expressed a desire to get up to speed with GIT, the version control system that Drupal will be migrating to from the much outdated CVS. The Portland group, which meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, arranged to get an expert to provide some git training at their next meetup next Wednesday, so if you're interested, check it out. I won't be able to attend, but I encourage anyone who's interested to use the comments on this page or that page to arrange carpooling.

Cool module: ImageCache Actions

Customizable Task forms in Storm?

I am working with a customer who will require several different types of task forms (different tasks for people to perform). Is there a method or tool to create custom forms and reports in Storm? Alternatively, can the Webform module easily integrate with Storm?

Ideas?

Thank you,
Stewart

Day/Time for next Meet-up?

Prior to the July 7 meeting, there was some discussion about moving the time of the meeting up, the idea being that perhaps more people would attend if the meeting were held during business hours. The next regularly scheduled meeting would normally be Wed, Aug 4, 6-8 pm.

Was there any discussion of this at the July 7 meeting? Did anyone have a proposal to make before the group?

I'm bringing this up now to make sure a decision is made in plenty of time to reserve the conference room at the UO.

thx!

It's October 2-3.

More info: http://pnwdrupalsummit.org/

I can't wait!

We should do what we can as a group to
A) Get people from Eugene (and the Willamette Valley) up there by providing support (logistics, fundraising?)
and
B) Support the organizing of the gathering.
