DRUPAL DEVELOPER - £350 PER DAY

My client based near Bognor Regis requires skilled Drupal Developers to work on one of their current Drupal projects that needs
code modules optimized to achieve higher performance. 

This contract is for 2 to 3 months and will probably extend beyond this.  The rate pays up to £350 per day for successful candidates.

Required skills:
• Drupal 6 / 7
• Module development to Drupal.org standards
• Drupal performance tuning
• Block, Views caching for authenticated users (authcache etc)
• MySQL Query Optimization

Drupal intern required at the Canadian Music Centre

The Canadian Music Centre is seeking a paid IT intern to work with our in-house IT team to work on various ongoing Drupal-based projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our staff to implement web-based functionality, implement interfaces and assist with the migration of data from our old system to the Drupal-based platform currently in development. The skills required to fill this position include a strong work ethic, the ability to work closely with a team and independently, Php/Drupal coding skills, CSS and HTML experience and the ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Successful candidates will enjoy valuable work experience with one of Canada’s leading arts organizations, a challenging problem-solving environment and a chance to build new technology skills.

This position would consist of approximately 21 weeks of employment with the possibility of extension (pending funding). We are looking to fill this position immediately. You must be able to work in-house at our downtown Toronto offices in Chalmers House at 20 St. Joseph Street.

This paid internship will be partially funded by the Cultural Human Resource Council through Human Resources and Skills Development Youth Employment Strategy which requires that applicants be between 15 and 30 years of age, eligible to work in Canada, have an postsecondary education, be unemployed or underemployed, and not be on EI during the placement.
