Coffs Drupallers September Meetup
We've recently had a few relative newcomers to Drupal express interest in learning more, so this meeting will be particularly newbie friendly. It'll also serve as a test run for some bigger and more exciting events we have planned for October and November. We'll provide more details about these once we've worked out what those details are.

This was going to be the April meet up but as is increasingly usual we are all too busy.
Much to be discussed. We no doubt have many notes to be compared, here are some topics of the top off my head:
Sawtell/Coffs Harbour February Meetup

Now that we've had a month to recover from DDU2012 and the sinful delights of Melbourne (Guinness and Kilkenny in pints, food that's not served in a paper bag with a sachet of tomato sauce, etc.) it's time to get together and share what we've learned with those who missed it, and those who've already forgotten it (i.e. me).

Another month goes screaming past, dragging a box of clawing deadlines in it's wake and what have I learned?

In which we finally admit that we are not actually in Coffs but in the much cooler Sawtellicon Valley. It's all happening over here in hipster geekville.
If anyone has the patience or interest I will regale the gang with:
- Stories of the riots that were London DrupalCon.
- My recent adventures with CSS3 Media Queries, free 'Mobile First!' Kool-aid for all.
Coffs July Meetup
@ Alma Technology, 81 First Ave., Sawtell.
I used to think that in Drupal there is theming, and then there's theming. Now I realise there's theming, theming, and theming. When I tried explaining this to my business/life partner she exclaimed "For God's sake, will you please stop saying that word!" If you're blessed with a little more patience, come along and we'll discuss the distinction between these particularly slippery concepts that all share the same name.
Also we'll look at the use of the very cool git-subtree in your development, staging, and deployment workflow, and - most importantly - making awesome squiggly-line graphs in gitg.

More of our exceedingly regular Drupal meetings. Matthew will no doubt regale us with tales of his vast brain whilst I yabber on incessantly about all the wonderfully exciting and world changing stuff we can build using just our keyboards, Drupal and some string.
Coffs March Meetup

Sorry for the late notice! Matthew is in tailspin mode before heading off to NZ next week.
Take a look at what's right in the world!
- Find out what magic the local Drupalistas (that's you folks) have been wrangling.
- News about the CoLab for those of you who are interested.
- Git training session dates to be announced.
See you at the luxuriously appointed Almatech Towers this Wednesday.

We'll have a recap of everything we learned from DrupalDownunder. (Brisbane in summer! Oh the humidity!) Also a new(ish) member of the local Drupal community will be along to introduce himself, and there are some exciting potential developments in the Coffs IT ecosystem that I'll enigmatically refrain from elaborating upon just now, but I daresay will get a mention on Wednesday. Drupal 7 is out! Debian 6 is out! How much more exciting can 2011 get?

Same deal as usual; come along and we'll chat about whatever you like. I've been playing around a bit with Git and liking it a lot. I've also dipped my toes in the waters of SimpleTest and still consider it a misnomer. I'd be really interested in hearing from any brave souls who've started developing with Drupal 7. Also I'll be driving up to DrupalDownunder in January, so if anybody between the mid north coast and Brisbane wants to car pool, let me know.
