We're live on the Brighton Digital Festival site! Now we need BAD-Ass.org.uk to look... well... BAD Ass!

They've uploaded details of our Drupal Discovery Day to the http://brightondigitalfestival.co.uk site. Best to scroll down to it on the main site. There's a direct link... not sure I would've set up the URLs as they have with the random date in it, but hey ;)

CMS Matrix

Was recently sent this 'CMS Matrix' link by a prospective client telling me what a fantastic tool it is for helping them choose the right CMS for their project:

http://www.cmsmatrix.org/matrix/cms-matrix

I was pretty shocked. Check it out for yourself.

Enjoy! :P

SPOILER ALERT: It's an inaccurate, out of date, misleading pile of dog eggs.

Recommendations for accommodation during DC2011

Hey all - I'm travelling from the south of NZ to London for DrupalCon, and a fellow Kiwi who lives there recommended staying in Brighton rather than Croydon.

I'd welcome any local knowledge or suggestions for hotels & great places to stay during my first week in the UK.

Thanks!

Brighton Digital Festival (September)

Hi,

Brighton's having a 'Digital Festival' in September - perhaps this could be a good time to get Drupal out to the wider masses?

I originally thought a DrupalCamp would be good, but I don't think the community is strong enough for that just yet - I mentioned again at the meeting last night that perhaps we should do some kind of half-day 'showcase', perhaps some intro tutorials too.

I note that some local companies are finding it hard to get Drupal freelance talent - surely the only way to tackle this is to all join in and help the community grow so there's more of us?!
