Welcome to the Groups site for the Denver/Boulder Drupal Users Group, where we discuss, share and find ways to provide local face-to-face interaction which can support activities like hosting speakers, providing tutorials, Question and Answer sessions, establishing relationships with others in the geographic area, and generally expand the community of Drupal users.
Schedule of meetings
- Boulder meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Locations vary.
- Central Denver meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month at Open Media Foundation (Map).
- South Denver meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month at Innovation Pavilion (Map).
- Colorado Springs meetings are on the 1st Wednesday of each month. See the SCUG Group Page.
- Carbondale/Western Slope meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday each month, see the Western Colorado group for more info.
- Northern Colorado (Fort Collins/Greeley) meetings are on the 4th Monday, see the Northern Colorado group for more info.
- Drupal Contrib Ladder meetups, to help people get started in the Drupal Contrib space, will be held on the 3rd Wednesday each month at Applied Trust in Boulder.
Other ways to connect: The #drupal-colorado irc channel generally has many folks in it, happy to help with Drupal problems.
While the group is primarily focused on Denver/Boulder, people in Fort Collins, Lyons, the mountains, the Western Slope or the plains are certainly welcome. Heck, we've even had folks from Wyoming and other surrounding states come by.
Discussions and wikis
For those in the south Denver suburbs -- Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Parker, and such -- out far enough that fighting I-25 traffic north to the Denver meetup -- this is a chance to get together with fellow Drupal folks to share tips, tricks, and new techniques. Bring your problems, too: we'll do "triage", and we'll come up with possible solutions.
This meetup is held at the Innovation Pavilion, at 9200 E. Mineral Avenue in Centennial, near the Ikea.
It is looking like the mentors from last year for the BuildaModule.com training being offered on Friday at DrupalCamp Colorado can't help this year.
If you are willing to be present, and answer attendee's Drupal questions when they come up, please let me know. Last year the crowd was pretty self sustained, so bring something to work on your own just in case.
Thanks in advance to any volunteers.
We are really excited to have Robert Jordan (rojosnow) coming this month to tell us about the gauth and gcal modules and how he is using them to add events to calendars across multiple servers as well as the challenges he ran up against and what he had to do to get these working correctly.
As always there will be food and drinks provided, so come and enjoy!
Me and some friends are getting together a group of Drupalers to go see the Colorado Rockies play the Friday night before Drupalcamp Colorado (June 19th). The game starts at 6:40pm.
They're playing the Brewers. The plan is to get seats in "the Rockpile", which is deep center field, so we can all sit together, drink beer, and talk about how shitty our seats are.
Who's in? More the merrier!
I'm excited to be attending DCCO this year again finally. It's my favorite Drupal camp and I haven't been able to attend the last couple years. I'm coming in from PA and wondering if any locals have a couch that I can crash on Friday and Saturday nights. I'm also looking for a ride to the Frisco or Breckenridge area on Sunday after the camp as I'll be spending a few additional weeks in Colorado afterwards but without a car. I'd be happy to pay for gas for the ride.Read more
I need to get an e-commerce site up and running this summer. I have a Drupal template and space on a server, but I have no idea how to begin. I'm looking for a mentor in Golden, CO or nearby that would be willing to walk me through it and help get me up and running. I would compensate this person for their time. :-) Anyone interested?
Stuck in town, unable to go to DrupalCon LA -- and in need of an excuse to not stay home Monday night and clean the house?
Come down to the South Denver Drupal Meetup! Our meetings are relaxed and free-form. Bring your problems, questions -- or bring whatever cool things you're working on, or have learned new about Drupal. We'll help with your problems and questions, and will gladly hear what's new.
Bonus points to anyone involved with Drupal Camp Colorado who's willing to tell us about this upcoming event, and encourage presentation submissions!Read more
Time for another Drupal Contrib Ladder meetup at AppliedTrust.
I'm excited to try something a bit different this month. We will be gathering ideas on a group project that we can all contribute to. The idea being that by working together in a team on a fun project, we will all get experience and learn Drupal concepts.
If, however, you are simply looking for some help with your own project or wanting to get started in some other way, we can absolutely lend a hand there as well.Read more

The latest and greatest in Drupal and the rest of the web technology world.
As Drupal has become more of an enterprise development platform, interfacing with the rest of the web technology world is becoming more common and critical. In fact, Drupal 8 itself is incorporating many technologies not developed by the Drupal community.
Latest & greatest. With all of your contributions, we'll review the latest and greatest topics featured at DrupalCon LA, sharing all of our opinions on it: "Go", "No Go", or "I'll Wait".Read more
