Drupal for Good

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

This group is a place to share ideas, organize and generally put our heads together regarding how Drupal is, and can be, used for nonprofit, charitable and social justice purposes.

Join us on the third Thursday of every month, at 1:00 PM U.S. Eastern for our group meeting by phone. View our next discussion date.

All calls are free and everyone is welcome! While "#npdrupal" refers to "nonprofit Drupal" (similar to "#nptech") our focus is broader than just nonprofit/NGO-specific uses of Drupal and encompasses all "Drupal for good" work like advocacy, community organizing, fundraising, and campaigns.

Our meetings take place at 1:00 PM US-Eastern/10:00 AM US-Pacific/19:00 CEST. (Convert to your local time zone.)

Drupal 9 D9 themes recommended???

Can anyone recommend a simple theme for Drupal 9 that has a good number of appearance parameters. We use Mayo D8 but that isn't available for 9. Just need color, layout, simple things. We need to redesign our website so might as well go to 9 now. Any suggestions appreciated. We are a nonprofit with no website budget so any assistance appreciated. D8 website River2SeaLoop.Org

Any community arts organizations out there?

Excuse me if I'm out of line with the group norms, but I'm new and with a local community arts organization and am looking for kindred spirits (or organizations) to get some wisdom from veterans on Drupal 8.x themes (free or otherwise) that might be a good starting point for organizations such as ours.

We do on-going programming in music and theater and hold events such as theater productions and annual festivals.
