Announcing: The Drupal Showcase Podcast

As the title says, I am announcing the launching (soon) of the Drupal Showcase Podcast. This will be a forthnightly podcast showcasing the best new Drupal websites.

Each show will be a friendly conversation (lasting approximately 30 minutes) giving participants a chance to share their thoughts on a recent project, how it was built, what others can learn from it, and contributions made to the Drupal community from the project.

Site upgrade from 6 to 7

I have to move a site from 6 to 7 for a small school in north Kildare. Its not a terribly complicated site, a few views, slideshows, galleries etc and a couple of content types. Would I be better off rebuilding and migrating content or going through the upgrade process as described in upgrade.txt?

Any suggestions are appreciated...

Thanks in advance,
Rick.

Newsletter Tips

Hi all

I know we touched on newsletter modules at the last meet-up - but now I have a project that will require a newsletter. If I'd known this last week, I would have asked more questions!!! So following from what we discussed, I have done a bit of research and there is loads of ways to create and send newsletters, so I'm looking for peoples opinions of what good and what they are using.

In terms of what I need to be able to do:
When contributors post articles to the website, they can tag the article as suitable for inclusion on the newsletter.

Top 10 Drupal Modules to Help your SEO

Hi Folks,

I wrote a small companion piece to my site editor experience post, called "Top 10 Drupal Modules to help SEO".

If I've left something out, please add in your comments.

Ubercart Realex 3D secure

Hi all,
I'm adding Realex integration to an existing D7 Ubercart site, and the customer's credit card processor, Elevon, require 3D Secure. I know Realex has 3D secure, but the Ubercart-Realex module doesn't (yet!).

So just putting the word out to see if anyone would be willing to work with me on enhancing Alan's Ubercart-Realex module, to include 3D Secure on D7.

See my comment here: https://www.drupal.org/node/1104048#comment-9947109
