We are looking for a talented Drupal Developer in our Oak Brook IL Headquarters (Chicago). This position will be responsible for helping to develop the company’s high-availability platform that serves as the foundation for multiple consumer facing brand websites featuring both content and e-commerce.

As part of the web development team, you will work closely with Design, Marketing and Infrastructure teams to deploy meaningful content and commerce websites. You will help to identify approaches, develop code and deliver solutions that meet the specific goals of our online initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have the following required experience and skills:
B.S. Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or comparable field.
1+ years of experience working on high‐traffic, high‐availability, websites.
3+ years of experience working on complex Drupal CMS sites; at least 2 years with Drupal 7
Custom module development and integration with core API, Views, Entity API, Taxonomy, Plug-ins
Advanced PHP, SQL, and JavaScript (jQuery) skills
Theming / CSS experience
Integrating Responsive Design for mobile support (including the Twitter Bootstrap Front-end Framework)
Relational database - mySQL
Significant experience with Linux operating system – including command line operation.
Experience with monitoring, integration and configuration management tools (Jenkins, git and gitlab, opsview, zabbix, and puppet)
General knowledge of protocols and APIs relating to Web based applications; such as HTTP, SSL, SOAP, Servlets, Portlets, CGI.
Experience with performance enhancement strategies, including reverse proxies, edge cache, load balancing, and opcode cache
Working in a cooperative team environment with other developers and designers – both internal and external resources.
Participating in definitions and preparation of software project requirements, high level design specifications, functional specifications and end-user documentation.
Hands-on information architecture, development, and testing.
Revision control in both developmental and production environments.
Self-starter with high level of initiative

Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
