Webmaster with Drupal programming experience

We are looking for a part-time contract (1099) webmaster to be part of a growing entrepreneurial non-profit organization with a strong mission. We are an international educational and membership organization that is part of a Boston area hospital. Our working culture is highly collaborative and agile, with the opportunity to work virtually and with flexible hours.

OHO Interactive has been contracted to build a new public and membership website scheduled for deployment in March 2015. The webmaster would be the key point person interfacing with our interactive agency and the IOC leadership team ensuring scope of work is reached and providing the agency with any needs /requirements from our hosting company and/ or server to ensure a smooth launch.

Anticipated: 20 hours per month before launch scheduled for Q1 2015 and 30- 50 hours per month after launch.

What you will be doing:

  1. Manage Agency oversight and final stages of new website launch

The current remaining areas to be completed to agency:
• Final functional specs
• Final sign of visual design
• CMS Development
• Content migration
• QA Testing
• Training and Documentation
• Deployment
• 40 hours of Public Site enhancements and support

  1. Participate in brainstorming sessions on how to solve desired website goals
  2. Manage entire website needs which could include creating webpages / navigation as needed
  3. Manage responsive elements
  4. Knowledge and understanding of what is best practices
  5. Some experience with working with 3rd party software programs like Infusionsoft
  6. Oversee and support SEO, website statistics and architecture
  7. Update and manage web content as needed to support others

Qualifications
• PHP experience and consumer facing internet/web experience. Must have examples of work in a commercial environment utilizing Drupal.
• Developed with at least one CMS framework or web application framework.
• Understands the underlying systems on which web applications are developed.
• Understands the technologies and languages which power the web such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Migrating data, scripting migration of data.
• Implementing or working with a template driven system with a clear separation between content and display.
• Creating and implementing database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Inserting, querying and managing data stored in databases or files.
• Knowledge of mail servers and IIS settings.
• Familiarity with GotoWebinar and/or ability to learn
• Basic familiarity with Infusionsoft or willingness to learn
• Ability to work with a virtual team of consultants and where a variety of hats with this small division
• Understanding of current web tools and trends
• Preferably residing in Massachusetts
