Trellon is a leading provider of open source solutions for non-profits, NGO and academic organizations. We are working together to deliver outstanding websites for organizations with missions that matter. We are seeking a Sales Account executive focused on identifying new businesses opportunities and acting on leads from our existing pipeline.

This role is an ideal opportunity for a talented salesperson with experience in selling IT services looking for a position with the opportunity for growth. If you have a demonstrated ability to sell services, develop relationships with channel partners, and write proposals focused on the needs of organizations with very compelling missions, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

People in this position will be responsible for the following key responsibilities.

  • Become known as a visible and recognized resource on open source software.
  • Manage all levels of the sales lifecycle including prospecting, identification, qualification, close, and account management.
  • Manage all leads within the designated timeframe on the company contact database in order to exceed company standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Build and grow relationships with strategic partners, other technology shops, subject matter experts in the non-profit community, and other people of influence.
  • Meet quarterly sales goals through the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan.
  • Prospect, initiate and build network/lead base & referrals to grow revenue.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to consumer groups & individuals.
  • Complete other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Trellon is a high-integrity business and we seek people who are driven by the kinds of challenges we take on. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities.

  • At least 5+ years of proven success selling IT services at a web agency, IT consultancy, or similar concern.
  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and other professional goals.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience building new business pipelines for services
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • High standards for delivering customer service
  • High-level knowledge of Drupal, web development and open source.
  • Interest in business travel, public speaking, and participating in the community.

Compensation and Benefits

Total compensation (base + commission) is approximately 100k-150k at target.

Compensation is not capped and is based on your performance. We offer a base salary plus commission and a bonus tied to fiscal year revenue production and profitability. This package does not limit your earnings opportunity but rather guarantees a level of income while you build your book of business.
