    Drupal Global Training Days Fri 21 + Sat 22 August

    Drupal Global Training Days is an exciting initiative from the Drupal Association to introduce new and beginning users to Drupal. The Association partners with companies around the world to make newcomers to the Drupal community feel inspired and empowered to start great work.

    Once a quarter, free or low cost training events take place around the globe with a single but flexible curriculum. It's also a great opportunity for companies to showcase their Drupal services and impact on their regions. The next Global Training Days weekend is August 21 and 22.

    The next round of the UK Drupal Apprenticeship is coming

    There's recently been a few posts (and a new website!) announcing the next round of the UK Drupal Apprenticeship and we now have a recognised curriculum and qualification specific to Drupal for the apprentices to follow.

    Drupal websites for charities

    Anyone interested in joining me to work on Drupal (and Wordpress) sites for charities? Based in South London, I have developed several sites for local charities. I'm looking at developing a new site for which I'd like to use Drupal. From past experience, the main problem with doing this is the ongoing maintenance of the site - I'd like to have more than just myself involved in the project with an understanding of Drupal.

    Drupal 8: Post-Critical Sprint Party!

    This July, BrightLemon are proud to host the UK D8 Critical Sprint between the 2nd - 8th July.

    At present, there are 22 known critical issues blocking a Drupal 8 release candidate, so we're hosting this sprint to help close that gap and facilitate the next release of D8!

    To celebrate all the hard work going into this Critical Sprint, we'll be hosting a Post-Critical Sprint Party on Wednesday 8th July to talk Drupal, share success stories and experiences. We may even have time for a BBQ and a drink or two!
