Our next monthly meetup for the Manchester/Concord area users will be Thursday the 11th of Nov at 6p.m.
Next Meeting Thursday, Nov 11, 6pm to 9pm @ Amoskeag Business Incubator
33 South Commercial Street ° Manchester, NH 03101
Directions: http://www.abi-nh.com/about/directions
Primary Topic/Presentation
I will be speaking/presenting on the Omega theme, and 960.gs topic again, covering the new direction and interface that the Omega theme will be taking in Drupal 7 in the very near future. If you've seen my Omega/960 presentations in the past, this will be a leap forward into a completely rewritten backend, with screenshots of wireframes for the new interface, and a live demo of the currently functional backend of the framework.
As usual, our presentation/primary topic will last 1-1.5 hours, and leave the rest of our time for general questions and answers on any issues you may be having. If you have something you'd like to ask or discuss, it would be helpful to post it here so someone might have time to come up with a good solution/answer.
Dinner & Drinks
After each meetup, we depart from the "structured" environment, and continue our discussions over beers and/or food at Murphy's Tap Room, or possibly the Strange Brew. We look forward to seeing you all there!!

Great Demo
Jake, that was a terrific demo last night. I'm getting started later than I'd thought on experimenting with the new v2 alpha theme. What were the two modules you recommend using with it? Omega UI and what other?

Thanks Roger!
The modules I mentioned are Delta and Omega UI. Both of these are NOT working at this point, and Omega works standalone in its basic usage.
I've also setup the Omega Tools module with a 7.x-2.x branch that works with Omega 2.x. (this is the module that gives me those default blocks to put in my regions so I know how everything is laying out)
Delta and Omega UI are now what I'm focusing on, and will be bug fixing Omega core code as I discover it. The Delta module will probably be done before the UI as that is going to take 14.7 million ours of QA and cross browser bugs to do the overlay properly.
