Join the DC Drupalers group and the larger Drupal community in a worldwide celebration for the launch of Drupal 7. As always, we will throw in some special D7 presentations to add to the fun!

Are you a Drupal 7 contributor? We’d love to hear about your contributions. We will be doing 2-minute contributor presentations. The schedule is open, so if you are interested in presenting send an email to bensley@phase2technology.com.

The DC Drupal meetups are open to everyone with an interest in Drupal and are a great opportunity to learn more about what Drupal can do and what folks are building with it.

This month’s meetup will be on Friday, Jan. 7 from 7-9pm at Stetson's.

Which date is correct?

Hi folks, I'm planning on joining the celebration. I see on the following site:

that the date is Wednesday, January 5. Which is correct, Wed. Jan 5 or Fri Jan 7?

The Drupal 7 release party is this coming Friday, and will be celebrated around the globe on the same day: January 7 2011.

Great, see you on Friday.

You might want to correct the date (at top of the page) on the invitation site. At the bottom, it does say Friday, but at the top says: Party Time!: Wed, 2011-01-05 19:00

iCal for group has it at a different time

Also the ical for the group has it at a different time http://groups.drupal.org/ical/25 which I believe is a timezone problem. The start is set to 19:00 UTC while it should be 19:00 for America/New_York.

If it were changed to 2011-01-08 00:00 UTC then it would self correct to ones local timezone.
