User group meeting
Hi all! This is our last meetup before DrupalCampNH 2011, so come one, come all and we'll talk about how to get the most out of this awesome event!
This Meetup will cover:
- DrupalCampNH 2011
- Drupal Tips & Tricks
- Drupal Best Practices
- What's going on in the Drupal Community
- Member questions/issues/challenges - bring your brick walls so we can bust 'em down!
- Open Call for Topics: We are looking for any interesting presentations or topics to share with the group. This could be a new module or theme you've experienced and want to share, a performance tuning technique, an installation profile that you think is particularly swell or anything that other Drupalists will want to hear and discuss.
As always we welcome any newcomers to Drupal as well as experienced Drupalists, and if you're in the area we hope you'll come by to say "hello"!
NOTE: Please use the Signup feature to indicate that you're attending!

Need to relocate or reschedule tonight's Seacoast DUG
Hi all,
I apologize for the last minute notice, but we've had a problem with our venue for tonight and won't be able to hold the meetup at the regular location at Brown & Co. In addition I have a conflict that's come up so I won't be able to attend tonight.
If folks still want to get together tonight then that's fantastic and I definitely encourage it. The Portsmouth library may still have rooms available, or any number of the restaurants in town could probably accommodate our small group.
Regardless, I would like to try to reschedule the meetup for Wednesday, September 21st, mostly likely back at Brown & Co. Would you mind letting me know if this new date would work for you or not? If I hear back from enough people that it won't work then we'll try to find another date, but right now that seems like the best one coming up.
Again, I apologize for the late notice!!
~ Kevin
Rescheduled again - Next Meetup is October 3rd!
Hello again all,
Sorry for once again punting, but we need to reschedule the meetup again. It will now be on October 3rd (Monday). The venue will be confirmed shortly, but come hell or high water we're gonna meet somewhere! Hopefully somewhere with tasty beverages. See you on 10/03!
~ Kevin

VENUE CHANGE! We're at the Coat of Arms pub in Portsmouth
Hi all,
Unfortunately our previous venue at Brown & Company won't be available tonight, so we're going to meet at the Coat of Arms pub in Portsmouth instead. It'll be a little more casual but with a wider selection of beverages (sadly, not free), and delectable food. They have wifi and a nice big table in the back corner behind the snooker table. When you come up the stairs just tun right and right again and you'll see the table. It's a little bit secluded so we'll be able to hear each other better.
Feel free to email if you have questions, and I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

Sorry, Kevin. I'm home sick
Sorry, Kevin. I'm home sick today, so won't be able to make it.
Oops... Halloween Rock show supercedes DUG
Hi all,
It turns out that tonight at the Coat of Arms is the annual Halloween Parade fundraiser rock-n-roll show (which is a hootenanny to say the least). That being the case, the Coat is definitely not appropriate for our meetup. I apologize if anyone showed up there only to be greeted by a raucous cacophony of killer rock, rather than the dulcet murmurings of Drupalists. I'm currently at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street, enjoying a scotch and hoping that anyone who went to Coat asked about the Drupal meetup and was told that it has moved here. However, since I haven't heard from anyone saying that they will be coming (thanks to those who sent regrets though... it definitely helps!), my hunch is that I'll just finish my Oban and head out, probably at about 7:30 or so. Feel free to email me if you're on your way, I'll wait if I get the message. Otherwise, see you next month, and sorry for all of the scheduling rigamarole!

November meetup?
Are we going to have a November meetup this month? I really want to start going to these more often!

Upcoming Seacoast meetups
I'd like to know when the next few Seacoast meetups are scheduled for. My impression is that Seacoast meetups thus far have been held catch-as-catch can. I think regular monthly meetings are in order, as long as they do not conflict with the Manchester meetings.
Thanks,
Bob
Seacoast Meeting in January
I just exchanged messages with Kevin Baringer on this very subject. He's been sick lately, but plans on getting things started again in January. I can't remember the the usual date, but look for an announcement soon.
