No October Spokane meeting (probably)...

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

We had a good meetup yesterday -- 3 people came, and once the power came back on (!), we had some good discussions and helped each other to resolve some Drupal issues that we were seeing. August was good too -- we had 7 people, and many lively Drupal-realted discussions.

But... I am thinking about not organizing a meeting for October. This is because I have a very busy schedule:
- Drupal beginner's workshop the next 3 Mondays: http://groups.drupal.org/node/169934
- Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit in Portland (weekend of Oct 15): http://pnwdrupalsummit.org/ (by the way, anyone want to carpool?)
- Google Summer of Code Mentor Summit in San Jose (weekend of Oct 22) [I mentored a student this summer, who was paid by Google to work on a Drupal project. In conjunction with that, Google hosts a cross-project gathering of summer mentors from across many open-source software projects, which is a great opportunity to network with people from those other projects -- as co-lead of the Drupal Documentation team, I am really looking forward to finding out how they are doing things and sharing ideas!]
- And some other stuff...

Anyway, if anyone else wants to organize a meeting, feel free, but I think I'll wait until November.

Meanwhile... Come to the Summit in Portland if you can -- it should be good!
