Announcing the Brevard Drupal Meetup Series

Hey everybody,

I'm psyched to announce a series of bi-weekly Drupal meetups in Brevard County on a variety of topics in a new, central location.

Starting Monday, November 7th, and continuing every other Monday (through December 19th for now), we'll be having a meetup at The Shamrock Room in Cocoa Village. For those of you familiar with Cocoa Village, The Shamrock Room is owned by, and directly above, Ryan's Pizza. There will be no charge for us to use the room, but I did promise that we'll buy food and drinks and tip well.

Wifi is available, but spotty (what else is new for Cocoa Village?) Presenters should be prepared to do their presentation locally.

I have a number of presenters who have already tentatively committed to attending, we just need to work out specific dates. Topics will include:

• Theming with the Omega base theme
• Drupal project management
• Module development
• Mapping in Drupal
• Drupal-specific server configuration and performance
• Version control with Git

I'll be posting info on the first one shortly.
