As a Web Developer based in our Westminster CO office, your primary objective will be to create solutions in support of new website development and to respond to enhancement and maintenance requests related to existing websites and products. Please note: also open to candidates in LA, SF or with the ability to telecommute. In this role, you will rely heavily upon your proficiency with the LAMP stack for development, primarily PHP and MySQL. Candidates with strong database administration skills will be able to hit the ground running leveraging prior experience writing queries and managing data migration, command lines, schemas, and layout. Additionally, exposure to Drupal, ColdFusion, jQuery, and other web technologies will be helpful but is not a requirement for this role. Your clear and informed understanding of web standards and new technologies will also be leveraged. Your role on the team will be pivotal as you will be involved with various aspects and phases of development. A familiarity and some experience working in relevant industries like publishing, media, or social media will be beneficial but not required as you work with customers to build sites with all of these concepts in mind. And, as you will interact with a broad group of professionals including front-end developers and designers, your ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively will be paramount in this role. Your strong communication skills will also be utilized to interface with hosting providers to address server issues and maintenance needs.
