Hopefully nothing will come up. Looking forward to meeting some new people.

Looking forward to it!

As I had to miss the last meetup due to my very exhausting Tennis match against a player less than half my age (I won, by the way!), I'm so looking foward to seeing the group, once more. So, how did the live broadcast go at the last meeting, or did it?

recap

ultimike's picture

At tonight's meetup, we had 9 people show up and we did a few things:

  1. We solved Linda's site migration issue (maybe).
  2. Mike presented the first portion of Tinkertoy Git.
  3. We discussed what the Drupal Ladder is, and we started working the "Test patches" lesson. We were stymied though, when we realized that Drupal 8 requires PHP 5.3.something - and all Mike has on his machine is 5.2.something. So, the plan for our next meetup is to continue with this lesson. In the meantime, anyone wishing to follow along, should create an account on learndrupal.org and complete the first three lessons.

The next meetup will be Thursday, May 10th - location TBA. I will not be available on that date (Happy Birthday, Amelia!), so you guys are going to have to figure out a location (Ben? Any ideas? Hint hint)

When's the next Brevard Meetup?

Haven't seen anything for the next meetup.

What would you like to present?

What date is the next Brevard Meetup?

chopperbob's picture

Ben,

I was asking what date was our next Brevard meetup, as we are suppose to continue with the April 23rd meetup topics, as follows:

•Drupal Ladder (http://learndrupal.org/)
•Tinkertoy Git (yes, it's as cool as it sounds)

Just finishing up on those two topics will be more than enough to fill up the time!

Tinkertoys will be missing at this meeting

Bob - The tinkertoy presentation is the one Mike is working on atm. He will not be available this week. If everyone has the first three lessons of the ladder done, maybe we could walk through the next lesson or two if folks are interested. Comments/Suggestions?

What would you like to present...

I could present what I've been learning about Vagrant.

What is?

That sounds interesting Dorothy. I know so very little about it. Please explain a little bit about it.

Thanks

Currently, we don't have a

Currently, we don't have a place for this meetup and I don't think we will have a projector.

What is the consensus? I will be gone next week, but would be willing to host a meetup this Thursday night somewhere if we can find a place.

Dorothy it would be great to hear about vagrant. I also could talk about Amazon Cloudformation templates and creating a Drupal site in seconds.

Cocoa Public Library meeting room #4 5 - 7:45 pm

I was able to come up with a room for tomorrow. However, due to budget cuts they close at 8pm. So, if we can make a shorter and/or earlier meeting we are covered. We would have wifi and a white board.
Will this work?

5 to 7:45

I'm in a meeting until 5 in T-ville. I can come late but hate to miss anything. :(

Sounds good to me:

I'm in a meeting until 5:00
