We had a great turnout at our first Chile Drupal Developer and User Group meeting! Over 35 enthusiastic developers and users were in attendance.

So we wanted to officially invite everyone to our second meeting (in a different location). Here are the details:

Here’s what we’ve got on the agenda for the meeting:

“Drupal Lightning Talks” presented by the Chilean Drupal Community

Have you been working on a really cool Drupal project? Is it something you can share with others? We are going to open up the floor to short 10-minute presentations on the Drupal website, module, or topic of your choice. We will have a projector available, so come prepared to showcase your work.

Here is who we have on the lightning talk presentation list:

We would love to have more lightning talks, so if you have an idea for a presentation, please suggest it in the comments below!

After the formal meeting part of the evening, many of us will head to a nearby pub for drinks and more informal conversation. So if you can, plan to hang out for awhile.

Guys, apparently there are two locations under the address ‘Santa Isabel 1186’ (at least Google Maps says so).

So according to the directions that Ben Kaplan gave us, you should refer to THIS MAP: http://goo.gl/maps/LfV5d (instead of this awfully wrong one: ~~http://goo.gl/maps/k6EyF~~).

If you follow those directions, you should have no problem at all to get to the meeting.

Chicos, al parecer existen dos lugares con la misma dirección “Santa Isabel 1186” (o al menos eso es lo que dice Google Maps).

Así que de acuerdo a las instrucciones dadas por Ben Kaplan, el mapa de referencia es ESTE: http://goo.gl/maps/LfV5d (en vez de este otro, completamente erróneo: ~~http://goo.gl/maps/k6EyF~~).

Si siguen las instrucciones, no deberían tener ningún problema en llegar al encuentro.

De allá somos, será en inglés o español?, porque casi todos eramos chilenos la última vez, por último hacemos una vaca y le pagamos un curso de español a los amigos extranjeros jeje

@memoarce Sin duda será en los dos idiomas. Español porque estamos aqui en Chile, y Inglés porque es el idioma de Drupal.

Pero si gustaria pagar por un curso de Español para nosotros, muy bien ;)

We had around 25 people last night, nice to see some new faces.

Great to get into some details and share in peoples experiences with the lightning talks. I think there may be some video?

Thanks again to @BenK and @Jcodypittman for organising, and a big thank you to @ceicciucen and for organising the room (and enough cookies to sink a ship) at Universidad Central.
