Hi all! I am happy to announce that right after last months meetup my wife and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Eliana Michele. Mommy was a champ as normal. We are still on cloud 9... :)
This month our meetup will be on its normal third Wednesday of the month, April 17th at our normal spot Infosys International, address below. We are looking for speakers for two slots a basic topic and a more advanced topic.
We have been doing a bit of work with iOS app integration and have leveraged some pretty interesting libraries to forge a connection between Drupal and a native iOS app. We are far from experts at it at the moment but could be an interesting topic to discuss.
If you have a topic you would like to see addressed let us know!

7:30-8:00pm - Beginner topic
8:00-8:30pm - Pizza, Q/A, and discussion
8:30-9:00pm - Advanced/Intermediate topic

I think a discussion surrounding various hosting solutions and scenarios makes alot of sense. I can offer some input on the popular Drupal hosting solutions today such as Pantheon and Acquia and dive into a little demo of each.

Great Meeting 4/17/2013
Nick's presentation on IOS integration with Drupal was great. It opens up the idea that a Drupal website doesn't have to fully mobile compliant - By using an Apple APP or Android App you can create a robust mobile experience.
Annemarie's presentation on hosting solutions was great. It led to A very interactive discussion on which hosting platforms to use for Drupal - Shared VS VPS VS Pantheon VS Acquia.

Although I am a newbie to Drupal I thought Nick's presentation on IOS integration with Drupal was very interesting. He presented the material in a way that was structured and easy to follow. Thanks for great presentation.
Many of the questions and concerns that Annemarie faced in choosing a hosting service I have encountered too. I thought her presentation was great and the follow up discussion provided some insight to other hosting services like Pantheon and Acquia. Thanks for sharing this information with the group.
