Drupal 8 issue thresholds
Starting today, Drupal 8 core issue thresholds will include postponed issues, but not issues filed against Drupal 7. (This means, for example, that the major bug count for Drupal 8 is quite a bit lower, but the number of critical tasks is higher).

Our threshold issues (majors and criticals) give us an estimate of our technical debt. We recently compiled some data on the way this metric has changed over time, using the new counts described above. The current picture is a little scary, and we need lots of help to bring our technical debt under control.
