The Drupal Web Developer positions are for the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The work is contingent upon contract award. The work location is Alexandria, VA and Norfolk, VA.

Key Role/Position Description: The Drupal Developer will oversee the specification, scoping, architecting, programming, and maintenance of custom Drupal projects. This position will work closely with designers, developers, and management to create a data reporting solution for our client. Ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take on large responsibilities, act independently, and take ownership.
• Drupal 7 site configuration via the UI including views, rules, content types, context, flag, commerce, file system, and much more.
• Drupal 7 theme layer: preprocess, view modes, render arrays, templates, etc.
• jQuery client side programming.
• Field api, forms api, core Drupal api including menu, entities, etc.
• Views bulk operations api
• Rules api
• Views api
• Entity api
• Git VCS & drush
• Drupal coding standards
• Patching in Drupal
Functional/Industry Knowledge:
• At least five years of experience creating dynamic websites with Drupal
• Solid working PHP knowledge, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
• Possess the ability to foresee/sidestep potential road blocks
• Experience working with senior level stakeholders and government employees to identify requirements and create solutions in the best interest of the client
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment while meeting multiple and conflicting deadlines
• Must have knowledge of the areas of web content management, web application systems, web software design

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree. He/she MUST be a US citizen.
