We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

Hey DBUG,

I'm based in CA, but have strong roots and ties to the Boulder area. I was also a part of the Help4OK project at DrupalCon Portland where we helped the victims of the Moore, OK tornado disaster by creating a website that allowed them to coordinate housing and transportation. The Help4OK site was then turned into a distribution called Help, I know it's on github and could probably be spun up relatively quickly. I don't know what the situation is like on the ground there with the flooding, but does anyone think this type of site would be helpful? (I also posted this on the meetup page for today)

Yes, ABC4All can support a worthwhile cause like the Boulder Disaster.

ABC4All supports worthwhile causes and nonprofits/NGOs worldwide (more coming): http://home.abc4all.net/resources/view/145954/?topic=32255

We are partnered with Jazz For Peace http://fth.abc4all.net

who have performed before in Boulder, CO: http://www.jazzforpeace.org/pressrelease.php?eventid=244

Let me know if you would like to exceed the record of $250,000 in one evening for one cause after 850+ concerts during the past 11 years, having raised millions of dollars for outstanding causes.

Hi there

you can contact me via robert@pedalnorth.com
Our cycling website is a totally volunteer run project, that we want to keep non-commercial and away from the marketeers. It's turned into a network of cycling writers around the globe, but we lack a technical editor to help with the drupal website side of the project.
We have no funding and do it all for the love of cycling. We do however have a huge global profile, that we want to expand, if you're happy to help with the technical bits.
As it stands, we need somebody who knows how to do the security updates on the site, and then to help design and build a new more responsive website to take us to the next level.
We can only offer a warm feeling of altruistic pride and the odd cycling freebie from brands that we review and test

Robert
