Great news, we have a fantastic new Marketing Committee Chair! Following the process outlined in my previous post, the Drupal Association board has approved Betsy Ensley as the new Chair effective immediately.

Betsy has been an active contributor to the Drupal community for more than 3 years with experience coordinating Drupal Camps and events on the East Coast and Pacific Northwest.

She is currently the Director of Professional Services at ThinkShout and formerly served as Director of Marketing at Phase2 Technology. She was the lead organizer for the first and second CapitalCamp and lead organizer of the PNWDS. She also has several years of marketing experience in the nonprofit sector.

Let's welcome Betsy!

Thank you, Joe, for the nice welcome! I'm really excited to help out.

First, I want to thank Ben for all of his hard work in getting the committee up and running! Second, I'll be following up with the existing committee members to get a meeting on the calendar. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to me if you have any feedback on activities to-date or suggestions for the future.

Thanks!
Betsy

After Joe's kind introduction, I do believe she's our man for this role. Good Luck, Betsy! ;)

Congratulations all around.

Congratulations all around. It's so good to see the DA continuing to fill in the biggest gap in our community by hiring non-technical professionals. Welcome, Betsy!
