Moldcamp is the first Drupal Camp in The Republic of Moldova.

Moldcamp will take place on May 17-18 , 2014, inside the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, in the capital city - Chisinau.

Moldcamp 2014 aims to gather over 100 Drupal enthusiasts from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria and other European countries. Drupal Moldova Association, the event organizer, hopes to promote The Republic of Moldova as an important European Drupal and Open Source hub and connect local and international Drupal developers and business owners.

Moldcamp will cover various Drupal related presentations by experienced Drupal developers. The sessions will be divided in three sections: beginner, intermediate and advanced; in order to provide the best possible variety of topics for Drupal users with different levels of experience. Sessions will be held in 3 different languages: English, Romanian and Russian.

We are expecting to have 33 sessions divided into 3 panels, opening and closing ceremony, coffee breaks and, of course, the official Party!

Those interested in attending will be able to register on the event’s official website starting 7th of April.

Maybe we can make streaming bridges between all of the camps that day? Because there are like 3-4 camps in europe :)

That would be cool ;)
I would setup a camera, projector and a screen, in a hall, and just project other DrupalCamps live))

Why is the MoldCamp messaging group Ireland, UK etc. Am I missing something, but shouldn't we be given the opportunity to opt-in to these messages if it is of interest?

Hey David,

We had people from UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and other European countries contacting us regarding our first DrupalCamp, always asking if and when we're going to have it. Because we became more organized here in Moldova, and also founded Moldova Drupal Association, more international companies became interested in Drupal activity in this region.

So basically this is why we wanted to ping more companies and developers in Europe, and announce this event in more groups. Sorry if it felt to you like spamming.

In example, by working @ Propeople, company which has offices around the world (7 countries, including Moldova) we would like to inform all of my ex-colleagues about the event.

Yep, I understand and I wish you the best of luck, but some 50 emails later and you start to see the irritation factor, especially as we shouldn't need to unsubscribe form group Ireland to get away from MoldCamp.

I am wondering about this as well Drupal Groups has been spamming me with mails about events i am really not interested in even after I unsubscribed from them. I find this behavior really annoying and basically would like to disable all mails from this site for this reason. Can this be fixed?
