To build and maintain websites for the College of Fine Arts, in the Drupal content management system. Responsible for implementing the latest Web standards, technologies and trends to build new websites and upgrade current websites while maintaining and improving current sites.

Essential Functions
Builds websites to support the strategic initiatives for institution wide communications. Completes Web development projects from concept development to the production of final product. Ensures that websites are accessible from a variety of different environments and that the websites are responsive to various devices. Ensures compliance with Section 508 laws, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other applicable legal and University requirements for website usage, security and standards. Assesses standards, technologies and trends, and implements plans for future enhancement of websites. Works with university personnel to ensure consistency of pages and recommends content management techniques, styles and designs. Evaluates and tests sites for accessibility, validity, browser compatibility, usability. Assists the departments in the usability of its websites including "look and feel" and information architecture. Provides excellent customer service to all levels of users and encourages accuracy, timeliness, consistency of standards and navigation across the websites. Troubleshoots daily and repairs bugs and problems. Crop, compress and resize images. Trains users to enter content in Content Management Systems. Provides feedback to designer and makes minor aesthetic decisions for page layout. Keeps current with coding standards and practices, production techniques and software enhancements. Manages special projects as assigned.

Part-time telecommuting may be available after 6 month period
