Overview

Reporting into the Digital Producer, the UI Developer will be an integral part of the Greene King digital team and help us deliver a wide range of high profile web projects across the Greene King brand portfolio. In this role, the UI Developer will be responsible for the front end HTML / CSS development of all web projects as well as working closely with our Digital Designer and Lead IA Developer to ensure that aesthetics are balanced with seamless functionality and usability, delivered from concept through to test and deployment.

Working closely with other members of the team, you will be responsible for the deployment of all web based projects, including site mapping, wire-framing, customer journey modelling, asset optimisation, front end development, back end integration, testing, cross browser / platform compatibility, deployment and ongoing maintenance / updates.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience, come from an environment delivering consumer facing web projects, be experienced at managing multiple projects and want to be part of a successful team often working under the pressure of tight deadlines.

Key Skills

  • Strong Drupal and PHP experience desired
  • At least 3 – 5+ years HTML and CSS development experience
  • Working knowledge of SQL / MySQL
  • Strong Javascript/jQuery experience essential
