Drupal Developer

Who we are looking for:

Angie's List is seeking a Drupal Developer, responsible for optimizing visitor website to increase site performance, search rankings, web traffic and new member sales.

What you will do:

· Configure and optimize website to achieve marketing initiatives.

· Write and update Drupal Modules to create efficient searches and drive business.

· Test quality assurance across browsers and servers.

· Consistent monitoring and improvement of site performance.

· Coordinate with other internal teams, including PR, marketing and product teams to maximize SEO value.

· Research and develop SEO best practices for Angie’s List.

· Additional responsibilities as assigned.

What you will need:

· Possession of an undergraduate degree in computer information technology, computer engineering, or related degree.

· Minimum of 7 years experience in software engineering or developing.

· Knowledge in and proficiency of SEO best practices, PHP, CSS, Javascript, Drupal, MySQL, and various browser platforms.

· SOLR experience a plus

· Knowledge of modeling, simulation, testing, quality assurance, usability, SEO, automation, and coding.

· Skills in coordinating activities, active listening, and monitoring performance.

· Skills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking, and decision making.

· Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties maintaining effective communication, both written and spoken.

· Ability to be highly organized with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

· Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

· Ability to organize information and have attention to detail and accurately follow procedures.

· Ability to maintain self motivation and to work independently and in team environments.

· Ability to break down complex information into a concise message for decision makers.

· Ability to sit the entire work day viewing a computer monitor.

· This position occasionally works more than 40 hours per week, evenings, or weekends to meet deadlines.
