Save the Date! Florida Drupalcamp 2017 will be Feb 18-19th in Orlando, FL!

As stated in Ultimike's blog post, we're going to start planning way early - And with that in mind, we already have our date set. Florida Drupalcamp 2017 will be Feb 18-19th in Orlando, FL!

We're hoping to change things around a bit, this coming year. We're planning on having sessions both days (instead of just a code sprint on Sunday), and we'll also use this as an opportunity to move around the beginners session to make room for more popular general sessions. Yes, we'll still have the code sprint, but it will be happening while other sessions are going on!

We'll also be hosting some pre-Drupalcamp coworking. So, come on down Friday and stay until Monday. It'll be a blast!

PS. Looking to volunteer? Comment below and let us know! We need more!

Hi

I am living in Pakistan and want Drupal advance training like drupal core training. Can i join your Drupal camp for core development of drupal?

Yes you can, but the

Yes you can, but the conference is onsite in Florida (in the US). We'd love to have you come, though!

That's odd. I'm seeing it

That's odd. I'm seeing it too, but only on desktop - it looks fine on my phone.

certificate

Looks like certificate is just self-generated, you can always accept it if you know that website is not risky

Site is back

I just tried again and the cert is fine. It is not self-signed and doesn't expire until next March, after the next camp. All I can guess is that Acquia had some issue and it's been fixed. They store the certs on a different server than the site itself.

JCL

Agreed, looks fine to me now,

Agreed, looks fine to me now, too.

This is an Acquia issue. They

This is an Acquia issue. They symlink certs and the files folder. So when they move/change servers, it breaks -all- the images and certs. At least this is what they have explained to me in tickets.

The good news is, it's usually just for 24 - 48 hours...so no big deal /sarcasm

So looking forward to this

I looks like I can come, and I will be happy to volunteer.

Count me in as well.

Worthy Causes?

Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year. This will be my 6th year so looking forward to a lot of familiar faces. What's going on on Sunday this year? I now represent a group that has 501c3 nonprofit status called the St Johns River-to-Sea Loop Alliance. So far we are an all-volunteer Board of Directors so no funding for website or anything else. It's the second major Bike Trail Network in FL to be funded by FDOT's SUN Trail Program (the first is C2C Titusville to St Pete, SJR2C is a Loop - Titusville to Debary to Palatka to St Aug) You can check out our D8 site at sjr2c.org. As you can see it has a long way to go and as the sole-Drupaler I could use help in dozens of areas. Anyone interested in helping with an existing site as opposed to a "from scratch" one this year? For those who helped with FLGreenway.org I still support it, but SJR2C.org is pretty all-consuming now (facebook page by same name sjr2c). Nice work on FLDC everyone. (as some of you know, we live in Deland now and will be back from Michigan in a few weeks survey the "after-Math" at home and around the Loop. Hope you all made it through OK.)
