We are back with Drupal Traning Day in Chennai!!!

Chennai Drupal Community Team announces free Drupal training workshop on Global Drupal Training Day.

It's going to be a unique way for us to share our Drupal 8 experiences and learning, having guest speakers at National level joining us on Webinars. The Training Session will be on various modules of Drupal 8 Technology at Hall II(2), IIT Research Park, Chennai, India on 10 September, 2016.

We are also privileged to provide an opportunity to Drupal trainers across India & globe to present and showcase their skills & knowledge in Drupal. This is a window for both trainers & trainees to exchange views, understand technological evolution, to feel inspired and empowered.

Install Drupal Console

Download drupal.phar in temp directory

cd /tmp

open terminal and install drupal.phar

php -r "readfile('https://drupalconsole.com/installer');" > drupal.phar

IF curl is missing error shows use the following command

Sudo apt-get install curl

Using drupal command via php we need to install php5-curl also. Use the following command

Sudo apt-get install php5-curl

Rename drupal.phar into drupal

mv drupal.phar drupal

Give user permissions

chmod u+x drupal

Move "drupal" into usr/local/bin

sudo mv drupal /usr/local/bin

Drupal Commands:

drupal site:new // Create new drupal site directory
drupal site:install // Install new drupal instance under created site root directory

Generate Custom Module by using the following command:
drupal generate:module [module_name]

Clear Cache by using following command:
drupal cache:rebuild
