Join our monthly meeting of the Waterloo Region Drupal User Group meetup.
Date: Thursday, Jan 19th, 2017
Time: 19:00 to 21:00
Location: The Working Centre, 58 Queen Street S., Kitchener
Our speaker for January is Dave Hansen-Lange (dalin), a long time contributer to the Drupal project.
The topic is: How to Create a Website on a Tight Budget
Drupal (and to some degree Wordpress) is like a giant bucket of Lego bricks. Whatever you can imagine, we can build. This is a blessing, and a curse. Anything is possible, but that means that you need a budget as flexible as your imagination. We’ve found that if we can agree on some constraints up front, it can reign in the total cost of the project.
Audience: Strategists, Information Architects, Designers, Technical Leads, and anyone who needs to build (or have built for them) a website on a budget.
Meetings for the Waterloo Region Drupal Users Group happen on the third Thursday of each month (except for July, August and December). The meetings are held at The Working Centre, at 58 Queen Street South in Kitchener, between 19:00 and 21:00.
If you have a Drupal related topic, or showcasing a web site or a module that you built with Drupal, please contact us, and we will arrange for a talk.
