This month Jay Epstein (https://twitter.com/jeppy64 http://jay-epstein.com/) covered the fourth part of "Drupal 8 and Relativity: Building a web ecosystem." With the new Drupal 8 offerings the game has changed for the better and continues to get more powerful with each major release. We need to explore the bigger picture. In Part 4 at our August 2017 meetup, Jay had discussed the following topics:

In Part 1, he discussed the following topics:
• The definitions of an ecosystem and the required DNA
• The two-sided logic of a main menu builder and master content type
• How to define proper entity relation structure
• The importance of flattest possible Information Architecture
• The Relativity Vertical Master and the spin up version
• The concept of Features for consistent spin up and edge case development

In Part 2, he discussed the following topics:
• Mastering Drupal core as a site builder
• Fields, references, and multi-tier data relationships
• UI elegance and utilizing field states for logical thought input
• Name spaces and indexing
• Initial Views with multi-tier relationships
• Intro to Configuration management

In Part 3, he discussed the following topics:
• Review of fields we created
• Form and Display view modes
• Review of content types we created
• Base table Views
• Views relationships for base table and related table data visibility
• Contextual filters for parent node filtering
• Twig tokens in Views
• Views presets and overriding defaults
• Views query render and display statistics

In Part 4, he went on to discuss the following topics:
• Block visibility groups and reaction displays
• Continue data modeling and ui control lessons
• Static page build outs with child node management
• Static page View blocks with Visibility Groups and reactions
• Finish up the Event content type modeling, Views blocks and Visibility Groups
