D7 Theme Docs

Can anyone help out on D7 Theme docs? There is a big need for help there, and it's an area I am totally clueless about. 2 issues on my radar:

I think it needs a lot of love, so if anyone can adopt these and help out, that'd be fantastic!

I did some D7 research for my sessions on D7 theming at Drupalcon Copenhagen and Drupalcamp Riga. I'm ready to start writing on the D7 handbook, but first the very important issue http://drupal.org/node/740194 really needs to be solved. We need to be sure if it will be a separate D7 handbook or a mixed-all-in-one D6/7 handbook. I added a comment there with some arguments for having a separate D7 handbook, which I prefer. So if that issue can be solved and someone can create the root page http://drupal.org/theme-guide/7 I could start.
