Welcome to the San Antonio Drupal Users Group (SADUG). Our goal is to help each other, make new friends, pass along referrals, and learn new and interesting things about Drupal that will ensure our web sites are what we want them to be.
Stay tuned for SADUG meetups and events. Please help this group succeed by taking an active role.
Holy smokes, has it been a quarter already? It feels like it has been longer and shorter than that at the same time.
Anywho, I am way behind on planning out the next meetup. Sticking to the schedule, first Monday of each quarter, is pretty short notice, so let's not worry about sticking to that.
I know some have limited availability for Mondays so let's try to figure out a good date/time that works for everyone.
How about the week after next (October 12-16)? I am basically open any day during that period. Please let me know what you think.
I discovered this repo in the most recent Drupal Newsletter, and I think they are a fantastic volume of information on how Drupal works, start to finish.
Highly recommended reading for all: https://github.com/mikecrittenden/drupal-7-deconstructed
The next Drupal Global Training Day is 21/22 August 2015: https://www.drupal.org/learn-drupal
I am interested in participating in this global event by training and organizing something locally. The Drupal Association will help promote if we apply. Is anyone interested in attending for training or possibly training others?
This seems like a good opportunity to get the gang back together sooner and get into the meat of Drupal more than our last meeting. I can devote at least one whole day and can work out a cool venue with enough interest.
Tell me what you think :)
