DP7 - problem med "Ctools" - lösning finns - men hur ska man gå tillväga?

Så här ser felet ut, som kom efter senaste uppdateringen - exempel:

Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object i ctools_block_content_type_render() (rad 153 av /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/db_Hspalt_1.org715/sites/all/modules/ctools/plugins/content_types/block/block.inc).

Här finns en trolig lösning med en pach: http://drupal.org/node/1739718

Men HUR gör man när man ska använda "patchen" ?

Är lite novis på "pachar" och hur man ska göra

Tacksam för tips ;)

Using Browscap with Panel Panes and Drupal Blocks

Many users have asked me how they can hide a block or panel pane in mobile, so to fill this gap I created two new modules that utilize the Browscap module (device detection):

Browscap Block adds a visibility option to block configuration settings to allow you hide blocks in mobile devices.

Browscap CTools includes an access control plugin to show or hide panel panes in mobile devices using the pane visibility settings.

Is WYSIWYG compatible with Chaos Tools?

Issue: WYSIWYG editing panel does not show.
Before installing Ctools, CKEditor was working fine. I went around, and around after installing Ctools to see where the panel went. I need the rich text editor for the maintainer of the website, he doesn't know html, and would be very helpful for him to upload and edit text this way per article. Does anyone else know why this issue occurs.

Please an answer, or an alternative direction.

Thanks

Conditionally show/hide panes depending on referrer URL or keywords

Hi,
Is there any module (or custom code) to help me to achieve the next thing:
I have a landing page and I would like to use visibility rules depending on the keyword used on search engine or the referrer url,

i have found this module CTools HTTP Header Plugins but the maintainer doesn't answer to the issue queue for long, and I don't really know if this module can help me to achieve this.

Editing panels_content management page - adding, removing, altering CTools provided widgets and their elements

I'm working on a site that uses og_panels to allow group admins to construct the layout of their group sites. These admins need only the most very basic options, and the plan is to remove any option deemed excessive from the end user experience. Most specifically, I'm looking to make alterations to the following:

1) Removing options in CTools dropdown menus on the panels_content page.
2) Altering, reordering and removing headings from the Add Content modal window

Panel/Ctools creates wrong path to CSS file

Hello,

I have a problem with Panels 3.3 and Ctools 1.3 (I guess). I'm using Drupal 6.16.

I use the "Flexible Layout" in Panels to create a two-column-display for my user profile pages. On my local drupal installation everything works fine. But when it comes to the online version the display of my two columns breaks.

I've found, that panels (or ctools) creates a css file which provides the needed css code for the two-columns. The path to this css file is wrong and I don't know how to fix this :(.

Here's what I think causes the problem:

Panels 3 / Ctools -- Edit Panel Content menus load extended

I've just updated from Panels-2 to Panels-3. I've run into some theme problems with Ctools. On the Edit Panels Content page, the page loads with all the CTools drop down menus expanded. This happens with my custom theme, but not with the Garland theme.

Has anyone else run into this? Any suggestions on how to fix?

thanks
