Module/Project Name: Crisis Management

Scenario: A shooter has just taken several hostages in the biology lab of the local community college. The faculty and student body have been alerted through the campus alert system, the administrative staff are on-site doing what they can to help authorities, and the PR department is swamped handling phone calls from friends, parents, and the media.

I know I'm late on this, but I just read "If She Can Do It, I Can Too" a few days ago and was inspired. Looking for suggestions (even if it is a module that already does this) and a mentor. Cheers!

Synopsis
With the inclusion of RDF in Drupal 7 core, Drupal is being widely hailed as the best upcoming tool for producing content for the Semantic Web. However, for people to understand the power of the Semantic Web, we need to help them use the data that all of these Drupal 7 sites will be producing. Proprietary tools—such as Microsoft Pivot and the Adobe Flex—provide sleek visualizations of datasets. With this project, I aim to bring this kinds of advanced data visualization—with zoomable, data rich user interfaces—to Drupal. With these kinds of interfaces, Drupal will not only be the best way to produce content for the Semantic Web, but also the best way to consume that content and turn the data into something really interesting and understandable.

Programming Contests Online Judge Module

Overview:

My Proposal is about building a Module that bring the functionality for an Online Judge For Programming Contests(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_judge), there exists a lot of open source platforms for that(http://code.google.com/hosting/search?q=label:onlinejudge), but anyone is build over a great community platform like drupal, that systems are used for a lot of students around the world for learning issues related to programming languages, algorithms and for improving your programming skills trought training and competing on programming contests, for that reason that communities need a great platform to interact.

Overview:
Users who wish to synchronize or move blog entries from Blogger to Drupal or vice versa can now do it seamlessly without uploading any file. This module just requires minimal details from the user and it connects directly to the blog for content transfer.

Overview
To add new feature that will make Drupal more user friendly and secure (from the perspective of author) to use .This new modules will help in preventing the different node types ( like Blog , Forum Topic , Comment , etc. ) being copied by user's actions like right click or double click .

Project
My goal is to create a module which will protect the content of the node being copied by users , crawlers or spam users .

Application for Drupal Summer of Code 2010 : Gaurang Aggarwal

Overview
To add new features that will make Drupal more user friendly . This includes the Bulk Menu creator . This module will help in creating multiple menus at once without any need of multiple page loads .

Project
My Primary goal is to create a bulk menu creator which creates menus in bulk . Presently , creating menus in Drupal is big hassle as it requires lots of page loads which is very inefficient , requires lots of bandwidth and consumes so much time .

Overview: Automatic importing/exporting system for content types and a content types server that provides importing of content types, where the developer can choose to import a single content type or a set of them with their relationships (node references, etc).
