Last night at the Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup, it was suggested that we meet more frequently than once a month and many hands went up in favor of the suggestion. It's also been suggested previously that we meet at a location that is easier for attendees from the New Haven area and consider a meeting night besides the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
With those suggestions in mind, having read over previous postings, and having looked at the calendar of other regional Drupal Meetups and technology groups, I propose we meet a second day each month on:
- the 1st Monday of each month, or
Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup - Tuesday, May 18, 2010
The Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group will be holding its next educational and interactive, face-to-face meeting on Tuesday, May 18th from 7pm to 9pm at Trinity College, MCEC 246, as it continues to build and strengthen the community of Drupal developers, designers, administrators, content creators and other stakeholders in Connecticut. Come meet fellow Drupalists. Come learn what Drupal can do for you and the best practices to apply when using Drupal.

Some folks mentioned that they would be interested in attending the Western Mass DUG meeting scheduled for April 7. Just to let you know that the date has changed to next Wednesday, April 14, in 102 Webster on the Amherst College campus.

Hi fellow Connecticut folks.
I live in Fairfield County (Stamford to be exact). To date I have been more active in the New York community as that is closer to Stamford than Hartford is. However, it occurs to me that the CT group should probably be about all of CT.
So to that end I created a taxonomy for this group called "County or Region". You'll see it when creating a new post in this group. You can select one or more counties that may be interested in the post.
