Robert Fabian of CIPS on targeting Drupal to developers

Robert Fabian is a management and systems consultant in Canada, who has been in computing for many decades. Robert has been involved with CIPS, the Canadian Information Processing Society for a long time too, and they are moving to Drupal as a platform to manage their 30-odd sites, after evaluating other CMS/CMF systems.

I met Robert at the Ontario Linux Fest in October 2007, and then yesterday at the Drupal Users Group meeting in Toronto.

Anyone interested in an event happening in New Brunswick, Canada?

Hey all!

I'm just checking for support to hold a Drupal even in New Brunswick (UNBSJ or UNBM would probably be the ones providing space). The event would hopefully be DrupliCON sized, and would probably garner support from local developers and service providers.

If anyone is interested, put a comment in here, if there is enough support I'll set the ball rolling for this.

Hey, Canadians! Internationalization patches for Drupal 6 need review!

Since I know internationalization is a big deal to Canadians, I figured I'd cross-post this to some groups. Please don't kill me, this is important. :) There's very little time to get these patches in before code freeze! (June 1)

community.civicrm.ca directory

I registered civicrm.ca some time ago because it was available, and have just gotten around to setting up a basic 5.1 install with the links module on the community subdomain with the goal of having a directory of Canadian organization installs of Civicrm.

So - if you are a developer or site administrator of a Canadian organization using civicrm - please add yourself to the directory! I've left the registration open for now, but I'll probably have to moderate it when the new breed of drupal comment spammers discover me.
