Hello everyone,
I work at Epicodus, a school for people who want to become developers. We're starting a new class on PHP, JavaScript, and Drupal! We've talked to a lot of employers in town and know how hard it is to hire Drupal talent, so we're trying to fill that need.
If you (or somebody you know) is interested in becoming a developer and learning Drupal, drop me a line! Also check out epicodus.com.
If you are interested in hiring junior Drupal developers, and/or participating in our internship program, email me as well.

Read moreDrupal Edge Suite for HTML5 Data Viz
Check out this great module, which allows a user to upload an Adobe Edge HTML5 composition to D7.

In addition to excellent Views integration, there is a data injection feature that works with tokens to pass in JSON formatted data to the comp from Drupal.
I have not yet used Edge for a data viz project, but since it's jQuery/JavaScript based, you can use libraries like D3. I've used Raphael and Greensock pretty easily inside an Edge comp. Edge is free, for now, from Adobe.

Read moreHow to do IE conditional JS from a module?
I'm trying to build a webform plugin that requires some additional JS included for IE browsers based on the version, the JS I'll need to output on webforms is as follows:
<!--[if gte IE 7]><script type="text/javascript" src="excanvas-r71.min.js"></script><![endif]-->
<!--[if IE 6]><script type="text/javascript" src="excanvas-r3.min.js"></script><![endif]-->
I've been trying to get drupal_add_js to work, I'm still learning jQuery and am not sure that it is the best way to check for browser or having a lot of luck getting it to work.
Here is where I'm at:
Fivestar Help?
So I'm using the latest version of Fivestar for Drupal 5. When I click the star, I expect the (x votes) number to update, but it doesn't. Is this a feature that already exists? If not, how can I implement it? My JS-fu isn't so great but can't I do something like register a click handler that runs a parseInt on div.fivestar-summary span.total-votes span and then iterates a count +1? I've got a general idea how to do it but the specific implementation I'm not so sure.
