The trinity of the blessed Druplicon

Drupal, Hotdogs, and Beer of course. Only with our hearts full of love for Drupal and our bellies full of beer and random pig parts can we really do something really productive...like have our first official meetup.

If anyone knows of a nice centrally located (in Manhattan?) space suitable for a meetup, now would be a good time to suggest it. I was thinking that it might be nice to have a handful of places in mind so that people never feel left out if any one place is too far.

I have contacted a good friend of mine in the hopes of securing a rather large studio space at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Building, which is right by Columbus Circle. I personally would prefer to do either one Sunday or Monday night a month as far as the time is concerned.

this is for newbees/novice drupal users who would like to learn about drupal. what is drupal? how to install, configure, and which modules to use. how to utilize the support community. where to find vendors and custom drupal work. adam mordecai, from advomatic, will be spearheading this workshop.
