Ideas for flagging wiki articles
I really like the Wikipedia flagging feature where articles that need work can be flagged (such as {{needs citation}}). I've been thinking about the best way to implement this in Drupal with a wiki system. Some possibilities include:
- Flag content - http://drupal.org/project/flag_content - Is limited and does not allow for users to specify the reason for flagging the node. Also does not put a note on the node itself (like Wikipedia does) when an node is flagged. The flag also does not show up in revision history.
Wiki session at DrupalCon OSCMS 2007?
I know there was a session on Wikis last fall in Brussels. It seems like there has been a lot of movement. Does it make sense to do a session in California, and have a demo of a wiki in Drupal, and a Drupal wiki?

How are things going? Is anybody actively developing a wiki module of some kind?
How can I help?
I would love to have a real wiki module which works like the rest of Drupal.
If no module developers are working actively towards a goal - should I compile a set of requirements?
What is missing? (Funding?)

anyone experienced in TWiki and Drupal?
I think TWiki is most advanced and sofisticated Wiki System around and should be looked deep into when planning to ad Wiki features into Drupal. It would be great if we would find a person who has deeper understanding of both systems and could adress potential benefits of this cross-polination ;-)

I'm going to try and outline some notes from the Wiki session at DrupalCon. I may have missed some big ones. This is a good example of where a wiki would be nice - to make this list. Is it safe to say it is not certain whether to use Drupal modules and glue to make a wiki, or whether to integrate a wiki into Drupal? Maybe it depends on the case?

I've written up a couple of wiki recipes in the past: http://wiki.bryght.com/wiki/drupalwikirecipe -- they were originally for 4.6, so they need updating, especially in the selection of a node access module that allows for editing by a certain role.
And, if anyone wants to use a wiki to document some items, feel free to use our public dev wiki at https://svn.bryght.com/dev for anything Drupal related.

Read moreFeed parsing overview in a wiki
Hi all -- I put together a short overview of current modules here: https://svn.bryght.com/dev/wiki/DrupalFeedParsing
Feel free to edit or add comments. It was meant to easily show in one place the feed aggregation / node feed creating thingies in one place. We recently wrote a very simple feed_node module that uses the core aggregator.
Budda's feedparser looks good, but basically we need more input and a concerted effort, as well as a migration plan / core integration options.

Hi everyone. I thought I would give you a heads-up about a project that I am working on and some of the extensions to drupal that I will be planning. I would hope to integrate some of this work into the future of the gmaps module if possible. I am currently working on something called the "Greater Victoria Community Atlas". check out development at http://greenmap.lifecyclesproject.ca
Things are still in alpha stage, and are likely to be a bit wonky. (best viewed in firefox at the moment)
It is basically an integration of liquid_wiki, gmaps, location, and a few other modules.. The idea is to create a wikimap system whereby users to add and edit points on the map. Each point on the map is linked to a liquid_wiki page where users can add content and pictures wikistyle. The map is based on layers that users can turn on and off (right hand-side menu). Each layer is actually a catagory pulled from taxomony. Marker Icons on the map are pulled from images in the catagory_image module. When you click on a point, it brings up the relevant page in an inline frame. I would love some comments!
