A public shared content type repository?

This is just an idea.

We've built sites on Mambo/Joomla in the past. mosforms, an extension to build and output custom forms and store the input much like CCK works for Drupal, was yet a simple, but great component to design site contact and other forms for Joomla. mosforms has evolved and is available as Fabrik - Joomla Application Builder now. There is nothing that might compete with our CCK here, but the last line of the published roadmap for Fabrik sounds quite interesting to me:

LiquidCMS - Ottawa based Open Source CMS experts

Hi Patrick, et al,

I just wanted to introduce LiquidCMS – a new Ottawa based Web Design company specializing in Open Sourse CMS (including Drupal, TikiWiki, Zen Cart, phpBB, and others). Hopefully myself and my partner (Marc McDougall) will be regular attendees at GOSLINGs and any Ottawa Drupal events in the future.

Feel free to check out our company site at: www.LiquidCMS.ca

Also, feel free to check out a mock up we have done of a National Research Council, Common Look and Feel, Drupal 4.7 web site. The theme/site we have developed has some neat demo capabilities to show various graphic region options as well as an adjustable menu colour demo. The site is also what I would refer to as FULLY bilingual – by this I am referring to not just bilingual content and menus, but URLs as well. The basis for the CLF demo site was a project (non-Drupal) that I did a few years ago for the National Research Council (http://nrc.allanalog.com).

Positions Wanted

There are a few things where I would love some work to be focused on Views. There are people who have interest in various places that I think may make some things obvious choices for some people.

1) I want the theming wizard to have bells and whistles. I want a user to go click click click and have exactly the right code to do anything he wants with a view. The biggest hurdles to themeing views is identifying function names and identified field info. The list view does a good job with the field info, but it doesn't go far enough, as it doesn't tell you how to theme a handler. For yes, the handlers can be themed. And it also needs something that can do tables. And do lists in different ways. THey don't have to be ul lists. They could be just some divs. who cares.

Open Source Analytics Tools

One fast way to boost Drupal's analysis tools will be to port other open source packages to Drupal.

I've ported much of the JavaScript reporting from PHPMyvisites, and I am interested to know what other open source analytics systems people have used, what they like about them, what they hate, and what we should bring to drupal.

I am especially interested in displaying information: graphs, charts, etc. Any good packages out there?
