Need Urs Help, How to Create social networking site with Drupal

Hi All,

I am a total newbie to Drupal and CMS's, but I am very much comfortable in PHP programming. I am trying
to build a community site. I need advise on how to go about building such a site.

I want to know, how to use DRUPAL with other CMS's like PHPizabi and Dolphin. I felt, both PHPizabi and Dolphin are very good community site. What modules do I need to use and how can I customize the Drupal configuration with any one of two CMS's? Please let me know, how to integrate the community sites with Drupal. Please suggest your advises.

Drupal as a print CMS

As the introductions continue I'd like to start a substantive discussion: What roles can/should Drupal play as a content management system for print output?

Here's some context: I've been involved for the last couple of months in a background conversation in which one of the memes is the need for a single, unified system that can output to Web, print, audio, video and as-yet-to-be-defined channels.

I'm going to quote (without attribution) from a private email:

"It would be wonderful if a one-person weekly newspaper journalist could cover the news and write it up (with photos, video, audio clips) in a clever content management interface that would, in some wonderfully automated way, result in not only the production of a Web site, but also the creation of packaged files from which a low power FM broadcast can run, a community access cable TV program can air and, of course, a newspaper can be printed."

Drupal search engine optimization is a full time job

Well, I just found about this group (and groups.drupal.org) today, and I've been using Drupal for over a year! I see this group for SEO has 59 subscribers, and yet I hadn't seen any posts from any of you on seo in the main drupal forums. Why is that? If I had seen mention of this before, I would have joined as soon as I found out - and there are questions that people are asking all the time about SEO in the main forums that deserve answers. I've been trying to answer all the ones that I can find.

I posted twice in the last month in the main forums to solicit input regarding an article I wrote on my web site: How to Optimize a Drupal web site for Google and other Search Engine Crawlers. I was surprised to find I didn't get a shred of feedback. The post has been viewed almost 1,200 times on my site and I've not gotten any feedback there either.
