During this webcast, our presenter will cover several key concepts related to building rich internet Apps with Drupal & HTML5. These include: Making a website cross-browser compatible; Making a website look and behave like a desktop application; Making the application work on Android iOS and Windows Phones; and, Updating and adding new features.

Join us for our next Toronto Drupal User Group meeting on Monday, March 18th. The meeting with take place at CSI Spadina, located at 215 Spadina Avenue (Suite 120), starting at 6:30pm.

Please note, the building's main entrance is locked at 6pm, so if you are arriving after 6pm, you will have to enter through the Dark Horse Cafe. The cafe closes at 7pm, meaning you will not be able to enter the building after 7pm.

Drupal is a modular, open source web content management framework that ships with basic functionality in the form of core modules. For the most part, you add new functionality with third party modules (known as contributed modules) that can be downloaded from Drupal.org. At some point you may find limitations. You may want to modify functionality in a contributed module or core. You may want to move your configuration to code, or access an external data source.

As an add-on to any existing advocacy site built in Drupal, it also offers supporters the opportunity to send targeted messages directly to elected officials.
