triDUG

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

Only local images are allowed. Our mission is to connect Drupal users in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, North Carolina and surrounding areas. We get together monthly for presentations, site demonstrations, and hack nights. Our goal is to help new Drupal users get up to speed, foster the development of existing Drupal designers and Developers, and contribute to the larger Drupal community. The Research Triangle has a big concentration of technical folks, universities, and start-ups and we want to expose as many people as possible to Drupal and all that it offers.

Propose a meeting topic here.

Need a person willing to walk through some tings with me in video chat

I am struggling with some advanced uses with a module and for twig templates and including rendered forms.

I need someone willing to hookup visually and help me learn the parts I am missing. I don't need or want them to do the work, but to walk with me as I do it.

Looking for an experienced migration expert.

Looking for an experienced migration expert.

We need to go from D7 to D9. Our Drupal guy has been having limited success. In addition to errors he finds that some related fields are also not being populated or or even maintaining the relationships.

This guy has done some work on this for the past two years. He feels a bit confident in what he has done, but some things are just simply elusive and unexplained. We need an expert in migration to complete the task.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Need a mentor - sorta

I’ve had success in the past working with Drupal 7. I’m more of a backend developer, and have not had to do too much with Drupal directly for several years. Now we’re on Drupal 9.

I’ve been following some tutorials to get my Drupal Module legs, but I keep getting lost. I need someone to turn to for some answers. I’m not looking to bug you constantly with questions, but I need some help either understanding a concept, or pointed in the right direction to grasp things.

Help teach a Drupal class on Saturday afternoon in Durham?

Hi, y'all. As I mentioned at the meetup last week, I am teaching a 4-hour intro to Drupal class for Girl Develop It RDU this weekend. Enrollment is low but if we get a few more people there will be a class. Since the class is structured as half lecture, half workshop, we need some helpers to float around during the afternoon portion to help people with their individual projects.

You can see the class description at http://www.meetup.com/Girl-Develop-It-RDU/events/232604888/
And my "curriculum" (such as it is) is here http://bit.ly/gdirdu-drupal
