Special thanks to our sponsors in alphabetical order: Aten Design

So ... there's this crazy rumor going around the Internet that an evolutionary product that represents the culmination of our hard work will be released soon. The internets are heating up with pre-party jitters and Denver is going to be a seriously fun place to be. Plan on coming to the LODO/16th street mall area to celebrate Drupal's next step towards world domination! We look forward to seeing you there.

Here's more details:

We are going to expand a bit from our normal haunts in the spirit of the growth of Drupal 7 by hosting the Denver d7rp party at the offices of Elevated Third. Come and join your local Drupalistas for food, drinks and international Drupal 7 camaraderie on January 7th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. This will be a much more informal gathering than most of our meetups but we will have guest speakers from Examiner.com to talk about some of the challenges and benefits the company has realized as a result of Drupal 7 adoption. We'll be offering raffle prizes donated by our sponsors in addition to live video streaming from the New York d7rp. Rumor has it you'll also be able to get the latest scoop on the upcoming Drupalcamp Colorado 2011. Space is somewhat limited so make sure to RSVP.

Don't forget the prizes! We will be raffling 4 $25 Barnes and Noble, a free copy of Drupal 7 and e-books from Mastering Drupal!

Don't forget the food! This event will be catered by the El Camino Tavern

1529 Market St. Ste. #200
Denver, CO 80202

@lisarex That sounds like a great idea. The venue is more of a drinking/eatery type of place and wifi wasn't a primary consideration but I'll start looking into options to help this happen.

Two recommendations.

Mercury Cafe: 22nd and California. Not open on Mondays, but friendly to a late night crowd. Good parking, if there isn't a game at the stadium.

Leela's: 15th and Champa. 24-7 diner, with food much better than Denny's. Most of you will need to walk a bit.

Anybody else, feel free to chime in!

I suppose it depends on how many people you think might show up?

Candlelight: Wash Park Area / Small but, number one dive bar for like 5 years straight - http://www.citysbest.com/denver/listings/candlelight-tavern - know the owner and can get discounts on food and drinks most likely

Forest Room 5 - http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Ft2XeH0TNB3y7YW5mmYPUA?select=oneS0OO4K3c...

been to some geek meets here as well. They have a nice closed off back room for stuff like this.

anyway, i'll post some more if i can think of any
